  • Please take a look!

    Hi all,

    I just wanted to give you guys a "sample" of what my daily routine is to get a critique. Please don't hold back, any comments are appreciated!

    Today:

    Breakfast:
    2 sunny-side up eggs made with 1Tbsp butter
    1 small (kind of icky, won't eat it again) flax cracker (flax, water, onion powder, garlic powder, salt)

    Dinner:
    1 hamburger patty with 1/2 tsp mayo, 1/2 tsp mustard
    1/2 cup cucumber
    1 cup lettuce with 1tsp white vinegar
    1 cup broccoli

    later I will probably have 2 wraps of lettuce with a very small amt crm cheese, and 1 pepperoni each

    I usually make scrambled eggs for breakfast and use 1/2 cup of mushrooms, I just felt different today! I thought I could use the flax cracker to dip in my eggs... wrong!

    Also, I know that I should be eating 3 meals a day, I just don't really have the appetite for it. If I do eat lunch, I'll usually have a cup of salad, sometimes with a little grilled chicken or tuna.

    Thank you all! I thought that I might have had a problem getting in enough fat, so I experimented for the last week by using extra virg olive oil in my salads, and put butter on my cooked veggies, but I went from stalled to putting on 2 pounds so I am cutting that back out.

    The types of food you have chosen or are eating seem good to me. I would strongly urge you to eat more often. You don't necessarily have to eat three meals a day...how about 5 small ones or snacks? It's a good idea to spread your veggie carbs out throughout the day. Looks like you are on the right track.

    Are you drinking your water too?

    Typically hamburger and eggs have enough fat along with your snacks of choice (cream cheese, pepperoni, etc.) so I wouldn't worry too much. If you think you need more you can jsut try having some cheese for a snack. Just keep it within the allowed amount. Good luck!

      Yea, food choices look ok. But I agree, you really need to eat more frequently, your metabolism will stall if you're only eating 2 times a day. And as Higgies said, don't forget your water!

        Thanks guys! I am getting in about 120 oz water/day, and I forgot to post that I am in extended induction.

        Edit: I took your advice, and ate more often yesterday... I actually lost again today!! YAY!!! Thank you so much!!!!
