I have been doing Atkins since May 13th. I have only lost 14 pounds since then and the first 6 were during the first week! I took my measurements on June 25th and again on July 25th and lost a total of 4 inches. I don't really feel like that is very much. I got discouraged 2 weeks ago and cheated but have now been cheat free for 2 weeks.
I have tried using FitDay but I get frustrated when trying to enter dishes that are prepared from a recipe where I don't have the calculations of calories etc. I don't have a lot of time to put into entering each thing. 1pound suggested that I post my menu here to see if there is anything that I am doing that may be slowing me down. I am willing to try anything and would really appreciate some input.
Here is what I ate yesterday (a pretty typical day for me).
Breakfast
2 eggs (fried)
2 sausage link
1 16oz can caffeine free diet coke
Snack
2 celery sticks (equaling 1 stalk)
Lunch
Rotisserie Chicken (1 leg and about 2 oz. breast meat)
1 cup zucchini casserole
Snack
Sugar Free Jello
2 oz cheddar cheese
*drank 100 oz of water throughout day
Dinner
2 cups red leaf lettuce
3 grape tomatoes
2 Tbsp ranch dressing
1 1/2 pieces of Whooshie pie
I have started walking in the evening (about 1 1/2 miles) and am doing abs each night. I know that I need to up the exercise. Could this be my problem. I thought about moving up a rung but am not really hungry and I am already losing so slowly, I don't want to slow it even further!
