  • Hinaris menu!

    I had this, is mushroom cream, made with a can of mushrooms (100 g), a tbsp of onion, rosemary and basil. An d one clove of garlis., water...
    Then I divided in three portions, for lunch, breakfast and dinner. At breakfast I hate 2 scrambled eggs and 40 g of cheese. At lunch A eviled egg lol... and a bit of cream. Total water drinken: 3 L, my vitamins and omegas...

    My goal:
    I started Atkins: May 29th
    Breast: 90-90-90cm
    Waist: 78-72-66cm
    Hips: 94-87-87cm
    Body type:5' 2" inches (159cm)
    I dont think I want to lose more weight, just complete correctly the phases. I LOVE ATKINS!

      Hinari... really you don't seem to be eating nearly enough. If you eat too little, your body will go into starvation mode and you won't lose.

      Also, on induction you should be eating your three cups of veggies per day (2 of salad veggies and one of "other" acceptable veggies). Most of your 20 g carbs per day should come from these veggies. They are very, very important for vits and mins.

      Remember, you should be feeding your hunger, no more and no less either.

      Did you check the ingredients of the tin of soup? Were there any hidden sugars?

      I'd read the stickies in the Induction forum and the acceptable induction foods in the FAQs.
      Better still, read the book (Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution, 2002 edition) if you haven't already done so.

        I feel very full when I ate this, and the sup I made it by myself... so there was no hidden sugars... Do you know: Chayotes? Can I have one medium as a cup of veggie?

          Thanks for the comments... I read the book I've been with atkins for two months now, so my hunger is less now...

            Yes you can have chayote! Some people make it like an applesauce with Splenda and Cinnamon in it.

            I have to agree with Sallyseachange. You are not eating nearly enough food. Also, veggies are really important for your body and health. Please reread the seciont in the book about moving up to on going weight loss, I'm concerned for your health!

              Thanks silly girl, Today I eat a lot more... In the morning half tomatoe with eggs (2) and cucumber. In the luch mushrooms with chicken, celery and a chayote. (medium) also 50 gramf of cheese. My vitamins and suplements. 2.6L of water.

                    Yes, that sounds a lot better Hinari! Good for you!

                    Soon you'll be able to move to OWL (ongoing weight loss) and add in those yummy extra veggies. Loads and loads of people lose MORE in OWL, particularly the first rung, so consider it a good option!

                      What I plan to eat today:
                      One medium tomatoe, half chayote, one cup of couliflower. Groud chicken meat with garlic, onion and red bell pepper. One scrambled egg. One can of tuna with homemade mayoneise and some tea (mint) with sacarine.

                        Hinari, you are really not eating enough food. I just plugged your intake into fitday. You didn't specify quantites for some of it so I plugged in 1 cup of ground chicken, 1/4 cup of bell pepper, 1/8 cup onion, 1 Tblsp Mayo, 1 tsp garlic.

                        Your totals are 758 calories for the day

                        47% fat 47% protein and 7% carb.

                        Your fat should be at 60-65%, your protein should be at 30% and your carbs should be around 5%, but that's only induction level. You should be way past induction at this point.

                        In reality, you are starving yourself. No person, regardless of weight, should ever eat under 1200 calories per day. That is the definition of starving oneself. I say these things because I truly care for your health. You are a young person, who is not severly overweight.

                        It's great you're posting your menus, please keep it up so that we can help you eat properly, and enough food, and still lose weight.

                          You forget the tuna... it has like 400 calories. But well, yes I think I will have to eat more...

                            Maybe I should explain more my menues:
                            Morning: One scrambled eggs, a medium tomate and half chayote. Water and vitamines.
                            Lunch: Like 250 g of ground chicken with a mix of tomate, mayoneise and tuna.
                            Dinner: Maybe couliflower and a pair of eggs. What do you think?
                            Total water: 2 L.
                            Total exercise: 30 min of spinning (low intensity), and weight lifting.

                              The mayoneise is prepare with: one egg, 150 ml of olive oil, one clove of garlic, vinegar and salt. The result is like a 1/2 cup, and I took like 2 tablespoons
