It did have wheat in the sausage, so what sausges are legal?

I did not have the caulflour but I had brocolie and cheese, neither has any wheat. It just has the brocolie and cheese or the caulflour and cheese.

      Today I changed a little.
      I am having for
Breakfast: 3 slices turkey bacon and boiled egg
snack: 1 celery stalk and ranch dressing for tast
Lunch: brocolie and cheese about 4 carbs and hamburger with slice of swiss cheese
Snack: 2 small tomatoes with ranch
Dinner: salmon steak or talipia with .5 cup of salad with cucumbers and tomatoes and salad dressing.
      Snack: stuffed mushrooms

I did not have them yesterday. I was too tired to fix them. No coffee is wearing me out.

The gelatine is either made with no sugar or I put crystal light lemonade in it for the cold water. I have't made that yet either.

Generally sausages arent legal, which is why i was checking with you, you'd need to make them yourself to ensure they were.

Brocolli and cheese was made yourself then right?? if so thats fine.

I know you're saying the gelatine has no sugar but generally that means it has a sweetner in it, such as aspartame, sucrolose, acesulfame k etc

you will get over the no coffee think, takes a few days for the cravings to go but they will go.

Okay the menu... looks pretty good to me, what did you stuff your mushrooms with?

O I thought they said we could have sausauge.

Well does that include Turkey sausauge links?

That is what I am having this morning.

boiled egg and two turkey sausaguge links.

            Lunch:

Italian veg. soup. No sugar or wheat or cream. just vegatables and boulouine.

Dinner: try having the salmon again with salad.

Last night I ended up with talipia rolled in over spinich and cream cheese.

My mushrooms when I make them are going to have cream cheese, fetta cheese, onions and spinch in them.

Does that mean no hot dogs either or smoked sausage?

You can have sausages, just as long as they don't contain in their ingredients anything that is not allowed - like sugar or wheat. Most brand name ones will and that includes turkey sausage, hot dogs, smoked sausage, in fact any prepared meat product including bought burgers, cold meats etc. You need to check the labels on EVERYTHING.

You can make your own legal sausages using ground pork, or any kind of ground meat, seasoned as you wish but without additives.

You also need to check the boullion you use for your soup for additives. I'd recommend that you add some fat to it also - either cream or perhaps prepare the veg by sauteing them with butter or oil.

Feta cheese is a fresh cheese and isn't allowed on induction. But you can use full fat cream cheese instead.

Feta is what is called a 'fresh' cheese, like cottage cheese, so is not introduced till the dairy rung of OWL.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Last night going through my stuff and throwing out some stuff I ran up on another Atkins book the newer one so I am starting from the begining with that again. I missed a lot of stuff.

                    Today I am having

Breakfast: Green Beans with smoked turkey

1 cup of coffee with carb free, sugar free cream. (i am still working on the coffee thing).

Snack: spinich and cheese, 1 stalk of celeray and about 3 slices of cucumbers .

                    Lunch: Salad

Dinner: Eggs and bacon - it really helps to eat this at night because then I am not soo munchey and hungry to eat. really satisfied and ready for bed.

Remember this board goes from DANDR 2002 edition, as that was the last book written by Dr A, you may want to avoid the new book that he didnt write!
