  • Is Linda's site right?

    Hi!
I have a question...I LOVE Linda's site first of all BUT....I have been looking at her recipes (like I always do) and since starting induction 3 days ago, I find a lot of induction no no's listed as induction friendly. Could someone explain this to me..
As legal for induction, she has things listed like tomato sauce, ketchup, low carb spaghetti (just to name a few). I know the tomato sauce and ketchup has sugar in it. I have the 1 carb ketchup from Heinz but I don't use it during induction. She has some delicious sounding recipes (especially the meatloaf) but they use tomato sauce and such.
I'm almost positive that you shouldn't have low carb spaghetti!!! Like I said, I only started induction 3 days ago and I'm not an expert yet, but I am really strict about what goes in right now!
Would someone tell me if I am right and these things are not allowed before I make one of them...lol
    Thanks!!!

Well, thats difficult. Tomatoes are allowed and I have always used both tomato sauce and paste, and even low carb pizza sauce for induction and never thought about it until you just posted. I don't do ketshup and never had but Linda does have a ketchup recipe that she might be using......
Did you know ketchup has more sugar than ice cream. I just read that some place. LOL
Anyway, I think that since sauce is okay in moderation, but you need to try it and if it gives you any problems

If there is a recipe on Linda's site that has low carb pasta in it, then it is probably an error, because she is usually spot on. Perhaps you should drop her an email and let her know.
