georgina yes when i said i had 3 tablespoons in the snack part i did mean for beverages i didnt just drink it as a snack. yes i get it now. so if i had a slice of quiche i could still have a decaf tea with a tablespoon of cream? or am i still reading it wrong lol.

do u know any green teas or fruiteas we could drink without cream

It depends on how much cream you've used for the whole quiche and how big is a serving size. I usually make a large quiche with 6 oz of cream and I cut it into 8 slices, so one slice would have 0.75 oz cream, which is equivalent to 1.5 tbsp (1 oz of cream is about 2 tbsp).

I think any fruit tea would do, the brand is less important. I don't know you, but I never add cream to those because the whole stuff precipitates and you get ugly-looking pieces of cream floating on top of the tea.

Also check that the green tea is decaf.

Teas usually do not have sugar in them. It is a good idea to check though---I remember seeing tea (not the bottled kind) with maltodextrin in it.

That is sugar found naturally in tea, just as you find some in cucumbers. What you have to check for is added sugar (would appear in the list of ingredients).

well my sis bf has this tea he drinks its made by lipton called red fruit - strawberry, cranberry and rasberry flavour - no fat/fibre/sodium/salt - 0.5 of protein, carbs + of which sugars. then ingrdients it says hibiscus, rosehips, natural flavourings. strawberry (.28%) rasberry (.28%) cranberry (.28%)

not sure if any of these are added sugars?

If those are the ingredients, it's okay to drink it. I think you're talking about this tea:

Well, you can't use it instead of water and you have to stay within your carb limit and get most of your net carbs from veggies. Other than these, no.

Tea has about 0.5 carbs per cup (8 oz). So in 1 L you have 2 carbs... and in 4 liters you have 8 carbs. Not only does this put you over the 20 grams limit, but contributes so much to your total net carb intake that you are not getting over half of them from vegetables.
