    turnips and rutabagas

    Ok SO
the "turnip" I bought the other night is actually a rutabaga. They're very similar but not the same. I'm still on induction, is this ok? I know rutabaga isn't on the induction list, but sometimes rutabaga are sold as Swede turnips or yellow turnips. The induction list says "turnips" it doesn't specify.

No rutabaga is not allowed on induction. It is a rung 8 vegetable. It is more glycemic than turnip.

      Ooops
      I ate a cup
I guess it's not the WORST thing in the world that I could have eaten. I'll still count the carbs. I'll still be under 20g.
