    Wow, you've been doing so well!! I've seen your pics from waayyy back and now...it's just amazing. My question is you, how do people offline treat you now in comparison to how they treated you before (friends, random ppl in the grocery store, ppl you dont know when you're walking around)? Do you notice a difference? If so, how do you handle it?

      Do you have a home gym or are you just using free weights?

      I know you're proud of those muscles (and you should be) but I keep looking at that area on your upper hips that has just MELTED off. It's almost completely gone! (That's one of the areas I want GONE on me!!)

      I went to the Body for Life website and agree with the concepts there. I've heard so many places (even from Dr. A) about the benefit of strength training along with cardio. I'm wondering where to start though. What size weights (I'm pretty strong in my legs, but my arms are complete wimps)? Where would you recommend I start?

        OH wow all the questions. HE HE I love it I am actually going to go to School to be a personal trainer so I am excited about that I fill my head with vast Knowledge in order to compliment my training and learn more all the time.

        I do all my weight training at home. I ahve never gone out Once to go to the gym or anything.

        I have a universal gym and recently picked up a weight Bench and also a decline Bench which is awesome By the way.

        Best way to start with weight lifting is familiarize yourself with the weights and exercises preform 2 sets of exercise Per Body Group for the first 2 week alternating Upper and lower Body this is a time when you just familiarize yourself with your routine and also with the Proper form of doing each exercise. Proper Execution is thew key to being Injurey free and you want to be sure before you start to increase weights that you know what you are doing and how you are doing it. That's why there are mirrors in the Gym so you can see yourself and how you are lifting. Even the littles off kilter move can injure yourself so having a straight back no slouching and not swinging the weights in any way, the movement should be completely controled if you have to swing the weight is too heavy and you are not tageting the area you are working on all your are doing is using momentum to get the weight up that will do nothing for your Body.

        So if you d 2 sets for 12 reps the first 2 weeks alternating Upper and Lower Body for instance upper body monday, Cardio, tuesday, lower body Wednesday and so on. As you get used to the exercise you may want to Split Body parts into Groups which I plan on doing after my 12 weeks of Body for life Just for a chage.

        Another important thing with Bodybuilding is shocking the Body you don't want to keep the same ol same ol for much longer then 6 weeks switching up every 6 weeks is a great way to keep your Body Guessing.

        I would definately recommend getting an exercise ball they are wonderful to sit on alos great for a cheap weigh bench when you are using Dumbells for say chest press and chest flies. Works like a charm.

        This sight is very helpful with exercises but, of course does not show them all a good Bet would be to go to a book store and Pick up a Body building manual of exercises it's a big help. http://www.bodyforlife.com/exercise/animations.asp this shows you through animation what to do for exercises and how to Proform them Properly.

        Keep the questions comming I love it.

        Oh and How do people treat me different well I can tell you right now People look at me differently I don't get looks of Disgust now People smile and Stare at me actually now and I kinda like it LOL. I don't get called names when I am walking I don't feel the need to hide myself under 6 layers of Clothes which by the way doesn't hide a darn thing. I love the attention I get I love it when people stop me who haven't seen me in a long time and GO WOW what are you doing. It's amazing People Listen to me now People want to know what I am doing and How I am doing it. They are so much more open to my Opinion just to name a few things I have noticed that are different.

        Also I just want to be completely clear that I lift But I also do Cardio 4 days a week as well I run upwards of 1 hour and long runs on Sundays I am training for a Half Marathin so my Workouts compliment eachother together they work perfectly to get me to where I am now.

          I did pos this somewhere else, but what ahppened to the glasses. Did Atkins perform a miracle and fix that too?! Or have you got contacts now? God, you look great. You must be so STOKED by those pictures. If I look half as good as you at goal I'll be a happy little vegemite.

          Yes, that's an "Australianism". Vegemite is a black yeast spread, very rich in vit B group and niacin etc, but salty, that many Aussies love. The happy little vegemites came from an advertising jingle origiannly on radio and later in TV, they were children singing this song (link here http://australia.ausconnections.com/...ecipes/dinkum/)

            SARAH you look awesome! What an awesome transformation your body is making! It must feel so empowering after having a few children, to know that you can transform your body back again into a more youthful one with so much strength too!!

              LOL Analog you are too funny and I did get contact I think I did write that in my Post well I was thinking it If I didn't ROFL it's been a long day MAN alive.

              It feels really awesome after having my 3 babies and 2 abdominal surgeries that I can get my Body bAck. I ahd a c section and also had a tubal pregnancy so I have a LONG scare on my lower tummy on the right side. It's all going down to almost nothing though which is really great.

                Sarah, you look absolutely fantastic, all those rippling muscles! What a transformation over the last year, its amazing. You deserve all the compliments enjoy, you've worked so hard. Congrats girl, you should be so proud of yourself!
