Re-start weight 210.6------10/23/07 Re-re-start again weight 215--3/02/08
Was on atkins 1.5 years ago and went from 250-170! My mistake:catfight , not going through all phases here I am again 215 trying to do it rite this time!:walking

Wow I don't know how I missed this post before, but I am SO impressed!
You definitely SHOULD be proud, what an accomplishment! So what weight training caused this drastic result? WOW again!
Female / Currently on Extended Induction (again), begun 6/2/08.
I did Extended Induction from 1/3 to 5/9 (2006) and lost 55 pounds, so I know I can do it again!
Yep, weight training and cardio on OWL. I've had losses as high as 5 lbs in a week, and as low as 1/2 lb, but its steadily going down.
I just have free weights (a set of dumbells and a barbell), and I have an elliptical machine....but any cardio would do it (walking is free). My free weights I got at walmart--$20 for a set of dumbells with 1,2,and 4lb weight plates and $33 for a barbell with 2 and 4lb weight plates. Since my initial investment I've purchased two sets of 5 lb plates and a set of 10lb plates. I use my coffee table for a bench. I look up instructions for exercises on the internet.

Very noticeable differences in your midsection, back, and booty.

Age: 24 (Damn, the years are creeping up!)
Sex: Male (Hetero as can be!)
SW: 370+ (August, 2005)
CW: 241(June 24, 2006)
GW: 220 (maybe 210, who knows? As long as I can see abs, I'm good.)
Education: BS (Information Systems w/software engineering concentration) MS (Information Assurance and Security 6 hours left) Ph.D (next goal in Information Technology Management. ~3-4 years)
And yes ,even though i didnt wanna be lectured i did click on the link lol
so I guess i can start to work out at a slower pace since i do have a gym in my apartment complex that noone goes to. I just dont like people to stare at me while am working out.
So tell me ur secret , what did u do ? is that all from just doing weights, if so what excercises ?
Because i always thought u also have to do cardio in order to loosed weight but then again i dont know,i have never really worked out .... besides cheerleading and golf maybe a lil volleyball. I know I know shame on me
Also what do u think about the suana? i heard it makes u loose waterweight only , BUT it burns calories which i think is reason enuff
Mix the cardio and the weights. I only do 20-30 minutes cardio on an elliptical every other day--that thing delivers amazing results. Then weight lifting every other day (cardio one day, weights the next). I started out with 4 lb weights.
