    Thank you Christy! Never hurts to get compliments. Hopefully, somebody that is in a similar situation (like how I was back in Aug of 05) will be able to use this as motivation. I'd hate to give off the impression that I'm looking for adulation, because I have a new girlfriend that gives me plenty of that

        This was taken last night, right before I went out with some buddies of mine that just got back from Afghanistan. I'm about 240-238 here... give or take a pound.

You look great and seem so happy and you have an awesome education in progress plus you are going to have letters after your name when you are done.                 LOL! Yeah, I'm a pretty easy-going guy 98% of the time, so you're right. I know I enjoyed looking at the before and after pic section before I started up, so if I can help somebody in a similar situation, I'm all for it. Thanks man!

                  This was taken tonight at a party to celebrate my friends marriage. The picture here is of my great friends Alexis, Roland (the guy that got married), and I (the only one with his left arm up). As you can see, although I've lost a lot of weight, I'll always be a "bigger" guy.

                    This was taken at my friend's party, celebrating his new marriage and return home from Afghanistan. I'm here in all of my Johny Bravo-esque cheese factor! I don't know what the **** it is, but its almost automatic for my hand to be clinched and raised in every photo (must be the whole boxing thing). Anyway, I'm roughly 240 lbs in this pic, enjoying the sun and BBQ.

                          Okay...I just read through this entire thread word for word and I viewed every picture in great detail. Your story is AMAZING and TRULY inspirational. You DO NOT EVEN look like the same guy. You have bloomed into a very handsome young man. Whoever gets lucky enough to have you in their life will be greatly blessed by a wonderful, not to mention, good looking man and intelligent man!

                          I admire you sooooo much. I will definitely be visiting your journal soon.
