I have been working out every day, I ran a 5k just last week, and every sunday I climb mount finlayson here in victoria, I work out hard almost every day, I jump rope for 30 minutes per night and do multiple reps of weight lifting. Usually 15lb dumb bells , and a couple of 20lb'ers.
I run, I bike, I am quite physically active. I only gained weight in the first place because of a couple of harsh surgeries. Having been a person that was active enough to keep myself fit for 22 years, without atkins, I think that my body is all good without it.
People have been fit in many ways for many years, atkins is a FORM of controlling that weight for many, but, for me it a way to lose weight quickly.
Again I will say that I do believe that for some people, atkins is a healthy diet choice.
But, Billions of people are keeping themselves fit without it, and I happen to be one of those people. Again though, I do commend those folks out there that use this diet on a long term basis. Its not unhealthy, but its not for me either.
I knew I was to get some flack about that, but everyone also needs to understand the way that the human anatomy works. Everyone is different.
I appreciate the advice though, have an excellent weekend.
