    Ive got a confesion to make. I never used to pay too much attention to the scales when I started this diet until recently. Now Ive been stuck at the same weight for the last 2-3 weeks and Im getting paranoid about my coffee intake causing this, or the lack of appetite at times which is maybe putting me into starvation mode.

    Im going to carry on for another 2 weeks and see what happens. If the scales still dont move then shall I start changing a few things? My question being, how long does one monitor lack of weight loss before knowing something is wrong?

      dreamof145 went months and months, maybe even a year without losing anything. she stayed steady on with her plan, not gaining but not losing. now that's a stall! a couple weeks is not.

      if you think the coffee is stalling you, ditch it. why wait for 2 weeks?
      and the starvation mode will most definetly stall you and besides, isn't healthy for you.
      if you can't eat those normal 3 times a day meals because you just aren't hungry, try eating 5 or 6 times a day but eating smaller amounts. you also may want to add a few more carbs.

        To be totally honest, the first pictures of you before look like your father haha. You have done a great job, you should be very proud of yourself, and so much younger too. Keep it up!!!

          I'm new here, and having your before and after pictures really helps to inspire me. When you're ready to quit smoking, let me know. I smoked for more than 20 years and gave it up ten years ago (June).

            Just an update, in reference to my stalling. Ive just discovered Ive dropped more weight - without even having to reduce my coffee intake WOO HOO. Im well pleased. It appears my stall was just temporary.

            Ive dropped another 7-10 pounds since my last images were posted.

              Your own father, not a father, i was just saying that u looked alot younger is all lol. As in your before picture looks like the dad and u look like his son, lol. Anyways hahaha, congrats on the 7-10 pound loss! Keep it up, WOOHOO!

                        A little update on progress...Lost another 20 or so pounds not sure exactly LOL ( total 70 or more lost) I think another 20-30 pounds to go til I reach goal.
