  • hangin in there...

well after Friday's crash off of the atkins wagon and feeling really rotten, it was time for a change.... I walk daily but today my daughter and I went on an awesome hike! up up up we went! attached is a picture of me and Fraiser resting (and feeling quite smart) after the hard part!!

I'm still stuck at four pounds gone.. but I'm hopful that those four pounds won't ever be back. please tell me I am not the only one who is a slow loser.

I love your picture! Don't get discouraged! The weight will come off, I promise. Lots of us are slow losers, you are not alone. It helps me to measure each week, that way if the weight is not coming off as fast as I would like, I can still see shrinking progress!

The hike looks like a lot of fun!

    1st mini goal- 225 lbs.-Done!

      What a great picture!!

..No, unfortunately you're not the only slow loser (winner ) on this board. If you haven't already, really make sure you read those labels. You can find that sometimes you are eating more carbs than you think you are. Also, you don't have that much to lose, so the closer you get to goal, the slower it will be. Alot of people find that artificial sweetners slow them down, if you're consuming them. Also, too much cheese can be a culprit.
..But, as long as you're not gaining, you're on the right track. Follow the rungs and you will reach that goal.

Thanks for posting such a lovely pic. Can't quite decide who's more beautiful... you or your lovely four footed friend!

You certainly aren't the only slow loser. There are lots of us here on ADBB... and take heart... many have reached goal and maintain happily. You can too! Remember, it's direction rather than speed and you're certainly moving in the right direction!

            hi out there..
what great advice from you ... thanks folks!
I do love cheese so I guess I better watch it. but it's so filling and so easy and so tasty!!! I have been staying away from the sweetener and the diet pop this time around! I found that it gave me a headache anyway. I have a headache today, but I think it has more to do with the very loud, 3 hour round trip, school bus ride with 75 children than anything!!
I sure look forward to posting after pictures like you guys... everyone looks wonderful!
