    I DO see a big difference. You are shrinking, don't worry about stalling from time to time. How are you feeling? You are shrinking in inches - just keep doing it and don't look back or have any doubts. You are making it happen - the best way to shake the doubts is to become active and help others who are struggling. Before you know it, you'll look around and notice that while you weren't stressing so much, you were loing more. You're looking great and deserve a big ol' CHEER for your achievement~

      I can tell you right now that there is a huge difference. The other way oyu can tell your losing weight is red stretch mark lines. The red ones or purplish ones are new. The white, faded ones are old so as you lose you will develop stretch marks.

      Front te front and the sides you can tell. The lower abdomen is going to be more difficult to lose than the upper abs so this may be why you see no difference bt we sure can.

        ^ My mum told me the same thing about getting strech marks from losing weight, i did the first time round as well.. I never understood it or did i beleive her though lol.. Its quite Strange because imo Strech marks are supposed to be from "streching the skin" Not.. making it smaller. But that helps ease my mind alot.. That im not getting strech marks because im getting bigger lol..

          I had a super long reply, But IE just closed on me (grr!)

          Yeah Emma, Your right i didnt follow the rungs, I just jumped straight onto bacon cheese and lettuce, with some other meat and veggies when i felt like it.. And it worked like a charm, 4 months and i was pretty much down to my goal weight almost.. But like i said.. Now everytime i eat Bacon & Chops i feel like im gonna throw up.. I barely chew them when i eat it and i drink lots of water to wash t he taste out.. Lol

          This time i wanna start making some of the recipes on the forum. They look sooo nice.. Im just so worried that the mince in my shopping area has fillers in it.. and alot of the stuff i wanna make has mince in them.

          My mum is horrible with me, she keeps thinking im starving myself and gonna go anorexic ( which im not because i am eating alot, just not a wide range of stuff at the moment, Just meats, Cheese,Veggies) And she keeps trying to tell me that bread and rice wont stop me losing weight.(same when we go out, she is always telling me to have chinese, because it has loads of veggies in it and is "healthy" ) Parents can be such a hassle at times!

          Now i know how important it is to stick around here while doing atkins, When i did atkins the first time, i treated this forum as if it was my bible, Everyone is just so caring and helpful and encouragement goes a long long way!. So i just wanted to say thankyou for all the kind compliments & words of encouragement

            yah the stretch marks that show are from the skin having been stretched over its norm. Basically the red is what happens when the skin is trying ot go back to normal and since it is no longer stretched it has time to heal itself and try to repair thus the redness from iritation and swelling do to strain. i am really glad this board is here. Although I take whats said here with a grain of salt <sometimes there are contridictions to what Dr. Atkins says in his 2002 book> and I go by exacty what is in the book. I find it easier when its right there in front of me by the person that developed it as he isnted attempting interpretation of someone elses work.

            I find a lot of the recipes are very good and I also found a few that I am going ot post to the recipe board.
