This my first post here, but I've done a lot of reading and put effort towards trying to put that knowledge to work. I was recommended this board by another user who continues to lose weight through Atkins.

This was me between from 2005 to March of 2008:

I started the Atkins diet in the middle of March of this year. This is me a month (mid-April) into the program with a rigorous exercise program:

    This is me today:

Thanks everyone for all the knowledge sharing - everyone's success was a great motivator as well

I still plan on losing 15-20 more pounds!

            Re: 5 months

Hi, all. I've been eating this new way for five months. Not dieting, but I find that
I'm eating less and can actually tell if I'm hungry or not. I never used to be able
to determine that because I was always eating. I'm down 36 pounds. Need to lose
about a hundred. I've virtually never hungry, but I still eat lots of good food. I'm
losing very slowly --I'm almost 60, so everything has slowed down -- but I don't get
discouraged because I've made a decision to eat this way for the rest of my life. I love it! Thanks to you all for your support!

                      Hi Ellenhart! Welcome
Congrats on your success so far... and isn't the appetite suppression of Atkins great? Kudos to you for making the decision to eat like this for the rest of your life! You won't regret it.

A tip.... why not post this in the Spotlight forum (making a new thread for yourself). You'll get many more views and replies that way.
