    And yes, Annie, those are 2 of my 3 children in the background. To be fair, I am young! Still in my 20s. I married and had children very young.

      Did you do induction for only 2 weeks or longer?

        Tiffany, I did induction for 2 weeks and then started adding 5 more grams of carbs with veggies instead of starting the rungs. I had no interest for dairy, the only good thing on that list for me was yogurt and I will only eat that with berries. Every week for about 3 weeks after induction I raised my carb count by 5 with more and more vegetables. Then I went straight to the nuts, then berries and then dairy after berries as I had no interest in wine and so on. I've gone slow on my rungs, but always made sure I was upping my carbs.

        I'm glad I did because I now know that if I keep my carbs at 100 or lower I can still lose. Anything higher and I slow things way down.
        Move up the rungs and find your carb levels!

          April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point)
          Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins)
          1st major goal met -----100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight.
          2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day.
          3rd major goal met - Wed, May 13-09 - Reached losing 200 lbs. in just over a year and a couple of months.
          4th major goal met – Reached “Onederland” June 6-09 – 198 lbs.
          5th major goal met - My 1 yr. Atkins anniversary - Weighing 184 lbs. this day
          Current weight – 184 lbs.
          Goal weight - 150 – 160
