Hey, I have been using this site for two months and I have no idea what the rep points are all about. Is it because I said something or did something right or wrong? If they are good, thank you to all of you that have given them to me and if they are bad, well thats not nice. Should we thank those that give them to us? Thanks for the imput........by the way.....I usually catch on pretty quick so bear with me on this one.

If you go to user CP above ,and scroll to the lower part of the page, you will see who gave you the rep points. It is good to thank them.
And yes, if you say something "bad" , I think you can also have points removed, not sure how that works though. Usually if someone believes you are being extremely negative or maybe something against the TOS. Never seen it happen to anyone personally.

So if you think someone deserves a thank you or a well wisher, it is nice to give them a rep point.

Wow! I know I should have been measuring all along. Now I'm going to start. That is truly inspiring. You're doing such a great job! Keep up the good work.

James S, YOU are the inspiration! We started at about the same weight and I cannot wait until I am at 223 pounds. How tall are you? I am 6'3 and I am thinking of stopping at 219 because everyone tells me that I am getting too skinny already. That is because they have not seen me at this weight since Freshman year of High School I would like to get to 200 pounds, but I will revaluate that goal when I hit 219.

How has your life, attitude, energy, overall feeling changed since losing that much weight? Did the benefits of losing weight improve as you lost more weight or after losing, say 25 pounds, did the benefits start to diminish. What I am trying to say is, I feel wonderful after losing 25 pounds and I was wondering if I can expect even greater benefits when I reach say 50 pounds of weight loss. I would expect that there is a diminishig return, except for smaller clothes, with additional weight loss. I can't imagine ever going back to that "Comatose" way of feeling when I was at 290 pounds. I was miserable and depressed and negative and blah. If I knew that carbs were "the devils brew" I would have given them up a long time ago.

Alright, well this just reiterates my point from this post over a week ago. Weight loss this week was nill, but I went to buy new clothes this week and WHAT a difference.

1. I am now a 16.5 neck for dress shirts.....down from 18.5
2. My pants are size 38......down from 46.
3. My shirt sizes are Large instead of XXL
4. I drilled two new holes in all my belts and they clear across my left side now.
5. I didn't have to ask the store clerk if they had this shirt in larger sizes
6. I didn't have to go to the very bottom shelf or the very back of the rack to get my size. Sometimes
7. I now wear a size 13 and not a size 14.
8. When I tried on clothes I did not have to stretch them out first
9. I ACTUALLY HAD FUN SHOPPING FOR CLOTHES!

Thank you for your kind words and EIGHT smily faces...........you are the one who deserves smily faces from me on your 44.4 pounds of weight loss. Congratulations! How are you feeling? Are things still progressing well?

I like you because you are so very nice, but one more mention of your lovely Los Angeles weather and I will find a way to inject carbs in your food Ok, I am not that mean, but I am SOOOO tired of the rain and cold here in DC. I am going to San Fran next month and I hope I get to enjoy the weather as well.

By the way, I can't fix the unfortunate looking face no matter how much I follow Atkins Atkinsgal08 will find some way to dispute that, but I never saw it in the book so it doesn't count!
