On another note, make sure you are hearing what these helpful people are saying about OWL and the Maintenance levels. If you get to goal weight through induction, that would be great, but there are some very important lessons to learn in OWL. OWL is like an internship for your career in Atkins eating for the rest of your life. Without this "education" you may fall back into old ways when you reach your goal weight, becuase you have not built up the knowledge you need to maintain this WOL. Now I said WOL, because we all know that we can't go back to our old ways without blowing up like Goodyear blimps and thiw will have to become a way of life for us to maintain our gains.
In OWL I have learned how to cook with new foods, I have learned what foods I can tolerate and which foods I cannot tolerate. Weight loss has become a secondary goal for me in OWL, even though I am losing 3+ lbs per week, because I am more concerned about mastering this WOL/WOE so that I can be a complete hunk for the rest of my life. Don't forget either, most people lose the same amount of weight or MORE weight in OWL and it is not something to fear.
So, in ending, no one is hammering you to move into OWL if Extended Induction is working for you, but start learning the ropes now so that you have the knowledge to maintain your FANTASTIC results. By the way, if that is your kid......I want to thank you on their behalf for making such a great change!

I started atkins in late november but every other week just sort of fell off the wagon and was not working out..late december I started to really follow it and added the gym from november to december I only lost like 7 lbs not following it right..from december to march 18 I lost 50 lbs give or take depending what mood my scale is on lol.
AMAZING !!! You must be so Excited and Proud Kevin...
