Okay...I was talking to my mom today and she was telling me about an article she read I think..in Woman's World, I could be lieing...Anyway, I'll find out for sure what magazine it was. The article talks about how a woman lost over 100 lbs. by setting mini goals. Now I do not know what type of diet she was following, but basically... say she weighed 235 lbs., she would set a mini goal of 230 lbs. and once she lost that, she would set another goal of 5 lbs..and so on and so on. Supposidly, she lost the weight quickly and says it all has to do with setting mini goals.
The lady says that when you set yourself up to lose 100 lbs. as a goal, it seems far fetched, but doing it 5 lbs. at a time, seemed effortless, that anyone can lose 5 lbs. Now, I agree with this, setting mini goals seems like it would be easier to achieve than setting a goal of 100 lbs.
I am going to try it...just thought I would throw this out there, and maybe it will work for you too!
