low carb pasta - Dreamfield's brand

I think it may have something to do with genetic engineering of the food? I heard someone give a speech on this, and although this pasta brand was not mentioned, the proccess sounded like something that may explain how Dreamfields can make their claim. It does taste good, but my family can tell the difference...only a little.
