You can't *buy* them in most of Europe - you have to *grow* them!Originally posted by soliwitYah sadly enough europe as australia are deprived of that gorgeous veggie :no
Most seed catalogues and garden centres sell the seeds. Be careful with saving your own seed as the squash family interbreed freely and unless you only grow one sort, and you don't have any squash-raising neighbours within half a mile, you'll never be sure what the next generation is going to be like and it likely won't be very spaghetti-ish. It *can* be done with the aid of paper bags tied around the female flowers and hand-pollinating, but I usually just buy the seed to be on the safe side.Started lowcarb February 2, 2004

See, I like fast cooking. I'm not patient enough to wait an hour in the oven! The microwave worked beautifully and it seemed to come out well in about 13 minutes.
I'm going to make some left over spaghetti squash now. I hope it reheats well.
Now I'm wondering what other veggies I've been missing out on!Originally Started May 29, 2003 and lost 96 pounds. Fell off the wagon and gained over 100 pounds back. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!
