I already posted about this in the extended induction section, but I want to hear from more people.
I'm doing Atkins the second time around. The first time, I lost inches and pounds fairly quickly.
In the last 3.5 weeks, I've lost 5.5 lbs. In the last week and a half, I have not lost any inches.
I am assuming that I am now going to be losing very, very slowly.
I want to make it clear that I am not thinking of quitting, not frantic, nor am I overly frustrated. I feel terrific, am working out about an hour a day or more (45 minutes minimum of cardio, plus alternative days upper and lower weight training), am happy and upbeat.
I simply want to get an idea of what to expect now that I have become one of those whose weight isn't dropping off fast.
So my question for those of you who are slow losers is: for you, how does the weight loss happen? Chunks periodically with nothing for a few weeks? More consistent losses every week but not much? Any ideas about why or what to do to speed it up?
I keep well below 20 carbs per day. Fat intake is about 68-70%. Doing the water thing. Calories are within 50 calories of my BMR per day.
