My hub unit is a gourmet chef...about the testing pasta for doneness, if its spaghetti, fetticine, angel hair pasta etc, chefs toss a piece of pasta up against the wall when they think its done. If it sticks, its done (seriously)
If you don't wanna toss pasta against your kitchen wall heh heh then just test its doneness by eye. If it looks done, it probably is, break it open and look at it, thats another way to judge doneness. If its all the same color, its cooked!
