if you taste the ATkins Morning STart bars, then taste the Slimfast Meal bars (low carb) ... you'll see the difference in taste....

Atkins bars basically all taste the same.. with the same mud like consistency imo

BK does not mean the woe is gone. There are a lot of people out there who don't claim low carb rather they claim whole foods. Same thing.

And Disney has filed BK like 7 times??????? Big deal. It didn't slow Mickey down now did it Betty?

With Dr. Atkins gone and the clinic closed, that leaves Atkins Nutritionals on one hand (to either find it's way or die) and on the other hand there's the widespread followers of the Atkins program. It's always been a very steady segment of the population, just not always headline news.

I really hope Atkins Nutritionals will wake up and promote the PROGRAM rather the frankenfoods. I'm not holding my breath, but if they'd figure that out they could become a very strong company.

yeah... the PROGRAM... it's an awesome idea... I'm not knocking this WOE at ALL!!!! (just the bars...)

there are MANY GREAT bars out there for an emergency... (yes it's frankenfood, but it's better than a honey bun in my times of weakness and crazy work schedule)

EAS and several other sports nutrition companies have VERY good meal bars... really.. very very good.. with 2 to 4 carbs... and lots of vitamins, etc..

that's all I'm saying.. is ATkins didn't keep up in the taste competition...

I'm sorry to hear that about the company... but it really doesn't surprise me...

Thank god there will soon be no more Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars to tempt me. That's all I have to say about it!

I'm curious though, what will happen to the supplements? I currently take Basic 3 and Essential Oils. Can anyone recommend a suitable replacement that's safe for the ANA?
