Got up early this morning, and dh and I decided to start the Couch/5K program. I have never jogged before, and my knees had been so weak with all the excess weight I was carrying. Well the first 15 minutes were torturous ones, but the next 15 my knees didn't feel a thing. We even did another 15 minutes of power walking after, and even bought an outdoor lounge bed on the way home! I could get used to this program!
If I can do it, anyone can!!!

Re: I Did It! YIPPEEEE
Way to go! You must feel awesome. You are now thin enough to run. I am so nervous about running because of the damage I have done to my knees. Maybe I just need to go out and try it. I keep thinking about it. Did you have problems with your knees later?Michele SW250/CW 226/GW150 F, 38, 5'6"
I was down to 175 in 2007 and I will get back there again!

Kiasmama - consider your butt kicked!
mamakimberly - I have been working out 5-6 days/week for the last 5 months now, it's the jogging that's new to me.
Thank-you all for your kind words.
Cleo - thx., the picture is 3 months old, and I am about 20 some pounds less now, so I guess it's time for a new pic!
