Re: Has anyone invested in a meat slicer?

We use ours. Though not often. But DH buys bacon by the slab and he cuts it up himself. And when buying salami and all that kind of stuff preAtkins at Christmas it made cutting everything up much easier and FASTER. It is a pain to clean though. We store it in a bag in the basement and just bring it up as needed to save on space.

We use ours, we use it on meats and cheeses, makes a big diffrence on the quality and cost of the meats and cheeses.. We love it use it about 2xs a month and it has a safety guard so your fingers never get close to the blade, i love ours... it is even easy to clean, and I keep it in the closet untill I need it so it is never in the way...

I personally don't have one but my mom does and she uses it all the time. She bought hers many years ago and it is all stainless steel. It doesn't seem too hard to clean up. I wouldn't mind getting one someday but I am also one of the few people that use their food processor regularly. I don't mind the clean up. It doesn't seem that bad to me.
