  • Going down again

I hesitate to claim it yet, but this morning I weighed 206.5 lb.

After losing over 50lb in less than a year, I stuck around 208 -210 for nearly as long, but in the last three weeks have seen a loss. This latest weigh in shows a fast drop of 2lb!

Very encouraging, but quite fascinating. I don't think I have changed the input/output balance, but have been very thirsty in the last week and therefore increased water intake.

Could this be the memory effect? The weight I stalled at was a weight I held for the longest part of my adult life.

I will watch the scales with great interest in the next few days.

Congratulations. I know what you mean about the long-stalls. I am in a stall now and will be anxiously a-waiting that big day when the scales start moving downward again. But..until then..I can share the excitement in the continued losses of you and the others.

                  Steady, on girls.

I ain't seen a copy of CQ for years (must look out for one next time I am in the dentist's waiting room). I wouldn't put myself in that class, and certainly not at my age - 56 less a few days.
