    Re: Meeting the Picture Freak!

J'ai voyagé à Montréal en octobre sur des affaires! C'est une belle ville...c'ést mon premier voyage a Montréal. mon père lived there in the 1980's.

pardonnez-moi..mais je ne parle pas français très bien, seulement à l'école j'ai parlé un petit peu, Wannabe je suis un anglophone too (yeah like that's not obvious when you read this LOL).

OK that was my sad attempt at french, and i'm sure it makes very little sense? I'm actually transferring over to a french account at work, so though i don't need to be bilingual, i've been trying to brush up a bit..apparently i'm not doing well LOL!

      Re: Meeting the Picture Freak!

That was pretty good Sadie. My French isn't what it used to be when I was younger. I forgot a lot of it since I don't practice it anymore.

I used to race the cab drivers when I lived in Montreal. It was fun.

So who do we talk to to have a new forum?

Ness pa parlay francayz. I was born in Chomedy. My grandad lived in St. Laurent, then he and his new wife moved to Pierrefonds. My dad grew up in Outremont. My mom lived on Jeanne Mance street but I'm not sure what part of the city that's in. Montreal is certainly a good place for carb addicts to go though, isn't it? They had toasted subs before anyone ever heard of Quiznos and the bakery items were always to die for.

I can't believe I read all that French and understood it. I guess the years of french in elementary and highschool wasn't entirely pointless.

HAHAHA, yah right! French I can read, but not really understand when I hear it spoken, and can't really speak it myself. Portuguese I can [kinda - butchered] speak, but can't read/write at all. Interesting.

Hey Chomedy must be a popular place, cause my sister lived there for about 25 years. BTW I will be in Montreal in December probably around the 15th or so. I just signed up a contract with a company from there, and they are sending me down for some training. If anyone is around, it would be a fun place to meet!

If it's a weekend I could probably meet you in Montreal. I always need an excuse to go to Montreal.
