You boys are right when you say not everything shrinks... My DH has lost weight right along with me...

And I can be on top the whole time now.

Watching the guy walking into the store infront of me do an about face once he got in to open the door for me.

Weighing less than the day I graduated high school.

Having all my friends that haven't seen me in a while do double takes.

I have a skeleton I can feel and see. I freaked out when I found my sternum, I thought I found a lump.

I have hip bones now too (which is either good or bad depending on who you ask)

I don't have to try jeans on anymore, just grab the size and go.

People I havn't seen in years don't recognize me so I don't have to pay up on old debts.

When I get carded the waitress or sales clerks look two or three times to make sure it's me, then they ask what happened.

You need those hipbones, K5. They stop your trousers (sorry, I mean pants) falling down.

                        O I do, I do!

Men can have some sort of understanding because they too wear garments that cup and contain. Those fit much better: the comfort increases radically as the waist and hips, and buttocks decrease; and as with bras, the suspension lifts.

Bwaaaahahahahahahahaa! OMG Cleo! You crack me right up!

My coolest thing about losing weight is that the waistband of my jeans don't dig into me all the time making my skin permanently red, and making me feel uncomfortable after eating so i have to unbutton them under my shirt.

Now they are loose and comfy! and dammit if i don't have the baggy-clown-pants thing happening in the butt of my pants...um....yay! i'm down from a 22 to a size 16 now

one other thing i really like is my hubby can't keep his hands off me at all now not like he needed any encouragement before, but now he needs his hands smacked in public! he says i'm actually shaped like a girl now! this being something quite foreign to me not ever having had this sort of shape in my whole life!

Re: Cool things about losing weight.

When I go somewhere, I'm not inwardly criticizing myself and wondering what others are thinking about my weight.

I like the way my husband looks at me now, it seems he used to talk at me, but not really pay attention to me.

The kids at work can hug me now and get their arms around me. They used to hug only half of me. I like FULL HUGS.

Re: Cool things about losing weight.

I was thinking of this post today at work, and I just had to come on tonight and reply! lol

I've found myself misjudging space when squeezing between things in the office. For instance, we have 4 rows of desks, the back row doesnt have a lot of space behind the chairs anyway, but we also have a christmas tree there too! So Today I was squeezing by as I usually would to get to my seat and it occured to me that although I was breathing in as much as I always have, I wasn't anywhere close to touching anything, let alone knocking the tree over!

It was a great feeling, and then I spent the rest of the day NOT breathing in and seein what else I could squeeze past lol
