    I was told to eat my full 20carbs a day all in veggies from some LJ Atkins. I have also read the book multiple times so i know it is only at most 2-3 cups of salad a day?
    Also it seemed i was losing most of my weight when i was on a Meat Intake, with my total 20 carbs comming from celery and cheese and eggs. I was dropping 1 lb a day. But I would think this is unhealthy to only eat celery. 3 Stalks = 2 carbs ( i think).

      the majority of your carbs during induction must come from those 3 cups of veggies so if you want to have cheese eggs and spices just to mention a few places other then veggies we get carbs from you need to eat the full 3 cups.

      Dr Atkins original program was just meats and fats and Dr Atkins learned that while many folk did lose weight it was n9t something they stayed with for life time changes in their bad habits that got them fat so he revised his plans. As more info became availible about how healthy the leafy green veggies are Dr Atkins revised the plan again and poof you have to have 3 cups of veggies.

      think of them as part of the cement holding your foundation of your Atkins house of eating together. We need a very strong foundation so we aren't the 9 losers who will regain our weight and have our house of Atkins come crumbling down around us at goal.
