    Hi all. New Tuesday weigh in.

    Down 3 lbs. from last week. Moved into new set of numbers. The clean induction challenge must really be helping out. 183/169/140

    Now to figure out how to change the ticker.

      Hey its Tueday again already and today can say weighed in at 208, but after watching those scales for the last few weeks I must take it with a grain of salt (or NOT!). Diva, I was about to give up, because yesterday after I drank half my water the scales actually got up to 214!

      But... The fact that I'm exercising more than have in years leads me to believe I'm gaining muscle while losin fat. My clothes are not as tight, and my energy is up and appetite down even though scales are ambiguous.

      Have got my DANDR now, but must admit am reading with a somewhat skeptical critique book vs. some of what I see in this forum, and measurements, %'s, etc.
      (For instance, The 1st menu in the induction chapter, supposed to be 20 carbs, I put into fitday and it was over30, although DA's quantities were bot specified; I put in Max allowed amounts to see how the %'s looked, & they were before I added the extra garnishes,Total: 2165 Fat:140 1259 59% Sat:58 518 24% Poly:15 139 7% Mono:52 466 22%Carbs:38 116 5% Fiber:9 0 0%Protein:186 742 35%Alcohol:0 0 0%

      but regained ~20# in '07 in less than 3 weeks! And again early '08 ...Was in HEAVEN -got to 150, for awhile, then got too busy, and gave in too much... and... OK holding pattern "keep it together..."

        Well I am down 1lb...........I guess we'll take it considering I have been stuck at 209.5 for almost 5 weeks,am hoping this "whoosie fairy" would show up and soon.Will keep truckin......good luck with everyones weigh in.

          7 Lbs. since last Tuesday.
          Started March 27,2006 29 Lb's & 3 sizes GONE!

                Diva, you finally lost!! Good for you!!!
                Boonie, only weigh in the morning, eating and drinking will affect your weight. Your true weight is in the am before you eat or drink anything. For your own sanity, try to weigh only once a week or you may get upset with the natural fluctuation of the scale. Measuring is a better way to tell true weight loss.
                I didn't lose any this week, but my tummy seems flatter and my jeans are looser so I am very happy!!!

                  I know, flower girl; I just do it out of spite sometimes midday when the morning weigh is up, just to have an excuse to kick myself - is it an addiction?

                  I post my 8:30 arrival-at-work digital scale weight - I'm pretty consistent before that time with good regularity & 1 L water before getting here. ...And I've cut back on the scale hits at home!

                    YES......I finally lost......was hoping after 5 weeks for a bigger drop, but I'm sure I will loose big this week.
                    Glad most had a good week but whoever has the whooshie fairy, could she stop holding her hostage and send her my way?????

                          Sunflower you have done an amazing job with your weight loss, you have lost 20lb in less than 2 months........thats awesome.
                          Citsim-Theres lots of links for whooshie pie, but I dont know where,so someone needs to add the link for you.
                          I tried it and it did nothing for me, but tastes good anyway, cant hurt to try right?

                              Weigh-Ins on Atkins seems very counter-productive to me. The answers don't lie with that number on the scale and this isn't a low fat or calorie counting lifestyle. As you can lose complete sizes and show no movement on the scale at all, I'm not sure why you are having a weekly weigh in. Perhaps once every month or two months would be a wiser choice, or even better yet, take the focus off the scale and just have a weekly session where you talk about overall progress in ALL the ways that bring Atkins success.

                                I need to see the scale move because I don't see the inches as quickly as other people. I am down 14 lbs. now. Most people would say that they dropped a pant size by losing that. Not me. Don't know whether the weight is coming from the insides around the organs (which would be great) or maybe just from around my ankles which is why my pants wouldn't fit any different. In any case, I like the weekly weigh in cause it just shows me a week to week loss. But that is just little ole me.
