    I'm down a pound.

    Am very jealous of a friend (1st time on atkins), who lost 5 pounds last week and she really isn't that overweight!!!

    Oh well, slow and steady won the race, right?

      Well. Either I'm more resistant than I thought, or else I lost 1 pound fat and gained 2 pounds muscle. Or Tom is sneaking up on me.... 206

        Down 1 # this week (TOM). Ketostix dark pink though. I'm still getting smaller, down 2 Pant sizes since 3/27/06

            Citsim and Ladypoobear...it appears that we are all starting out around the same general weight and have similar goals...it's kind of nice to be on the same weigh in schedule

              I am up .5 this week, but I am not counting that because of TOM. If it is still there next week, I will count it. This is the first time I have gained!!!!! Oh well, I am hoping it is just water from TOM. I did eat too much cream cheese last week, but I have been off that since Sunday. I am not buying more until I think I can get a handle on it. I love that stuff!! Oh well, great job everyone who lost. Keep up the great work!!

                Hello to everyone -

                Congrats to everyone who are not only sticking to the plan and losing, but who are also commited to supporting everyone else with being the healthiest they can be .. I get sooooo easily sidetracked, and have been able to slip so quickly a few times along the way. It's been a week - with no "cheating" and I am finally back into ketosis - and am following a "clean induction" Now I am making this not only a "goal" but a mission to stay in it to win it! Let's see what I can make happen if I put my mind to it!!

                3/14 - 256.5
                3/21 - 252.5 (- 4 lbs)
                3/28 - 249.5 (- 3 lbs)
                4/4 - 252 (+ 2.5 lbs)
                4/11 - 246.5 (- 5.5 lbs)
                4/18 - 252 (+5.5 lbs) (cheating was sooooo not worth it)
                4/25 - 247.5 (-4.5 lbs) almost back to where I was - at least I am not giving up so easily this time - I am trying to adapt this as a lifestyle and not just a diet - so when I slip - I try to get right back on - without beating myself up too much - because we ALL know where that can lead I know that I can do this - especially with so much welcomed support - everytime I "cheat" it gets harder to "jump" right back in - and even harder to jump back into ketosis - so I have joined a "no cheat" 6 week clean induction challenge, and have made a promise to myself (although those are the only promises that I tend to break) to not give up!!

                I'm really looking forward to hearing everyone's successes next week!!

                  Just one pound this week, but WOOHOOO I'm still going in the right direction!
                  Female / Currently on Extended Induction (again), begun 6/2/08.

                  I did Extended Induction from 1/3 to 5/9 (2006) and lost 55 pounds, so I know I can do it again!

                      Ittttttttttttt's Tuesday!! So I am happy to report that I am at 240 lbs. for a total of 4 lbs. gone this week. That's a grand total of 20 lbs. thus far since my start date. Good luck with your weigh in's everyone!

                          I lost the .5 pound I was up last week due to TOM. I am very happy with that! Great job LadyPoohBear!! 4 pounds is great. I love our Tuesday weigh ins!!

                            Great Job everyone! I weighed in this morning with a respectable 1 lb loss. That brings me down to 240 (which makes me very happy this Tuesday).
