    Well done! I saw this message too late to offer any advice... I would have suggested that you could have eaten so many boiled eggs before you went out that the merest sight of any food would make you run to the bathroom..buts thats only an extreme emergency tactic!

    What you did is better. You got your willpower up and running! Hooray for you!

      Good for you! I love when someone posts that they are going to a party where there will be tons of bad stuff and then they actually come back the next day to tell us they didn't cheat! It makes us all feel so powerful, and we feel so good for you we just want to give you a big ol hug! Rep power to you!

          You did well, and see, it wasn't the big bogie you thought it might be. Next time you will not doubt yourself. As Elizellen said, these social pigging out occasions can be very difficult.
          As you progress on the ATkins OWL ladder, you can have desserts like fresh berries and cream, so always check ahead to see if they might be available, and, if you feel like eating, no one need ever know you are 'dieting'.
