Re: honey???
Nope. If it's not on the Induction foods list (read the book), then leave it alone.Originally posted by layla24/7can i eat honey and make honey butter???Im on my 10th day of induction and i havent cheated.Wanted to make sure.Keep doing what you're doing & you'll keep getting what you're getting!!!213.5/126-131/140, 5'5" age 33Original Goal: 160Size 22/4-6-8/8Start BMI: 35.5Current BMI: 21.8MaintenanceStarted Low Carbing 5/23/03Started Atkins 6/11/03

Re: honey???
Sugar is natural. So are potatoes. All of em come out of the ground. Doesn't make it healthy or good for weight loss.Originally posted by layla24/7wow.i didnt know that.Especially honey being all natural.Keep doing what you're doing & you'll keep getting what you're getting!!!213.5/126-131/140, 5'5" age 33Original Goal: 160Size 22/4-6-8/8Start BMI: 35.5Current BMI: 21.8MaintenanceStarted Low Carbing 5/23/03Started Atkins 6/11/03

Re: honey???
I am not sure what honey butter is but if it is just butter mixed with honey you could use some of your 3 servings of sweetener to beat some splenda into butter to top pancakes or similar foods once you reach goal weight.
I would wait till then as you might find succumbing to a sweet tooth early in your weightloss journey counterproductive.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
