    Re: BAcon and Sugar

Wannabthin,I did check the ingredients on the brand you said and even thou its says 0carb and 0 sugar, if you check the ingredients it had sugar I think either 3rd of 4th on the list, either that or wherever you live, they dont include sugar, but here they do.Check the back of it and let me know what it says cos thats really weird if yours doesnt and mine here does.

Try maple leaf 33% less salt bacon, i'm quite sure it's sugar free.

Really the sugar is very low in bacon, like Wanna said unless you're eating a lb of it i wouldn't really worry. Just count it as one carb

Yes, they round up or down the ingredients contents but if you have the portion size (usually 2 slices) the amount of sugar will be so small that it won't matter.

The Shopsy's bacon doesn't have sugar either. I always look at the ingredients, as well as the carbs. If you look at maple or brown sugar cured then, of course, those ones will have sugar as an ingredient. Finding sugar free bacon sure isn't as hard as trying to find sausages with no filler in them. Sheesh!

Yeah, Maple Leaf reduced sodium bacon has no sugar addes. Also, if you shop at Costco, their Kirkland brand of sodium reduced bacon also has no sugar.
