Other then what not2late stated, I'm not sure how to respond as you've said to "hold the comments". I guess I need more clarification as to what you're asking. What phase of Atkins are you on? "It may be because my only carbs are basically coming from the wine"...does that mean you're not eating any vegetables?

I've tried " motified versions" before, this is the first time I've done induction to the T!!!!! It's a workin...ketostix dark purple, clothes looser, feeling confident...and I'm excited because everyone says week 2 is where it REALLY starts shaving off..I love it!!!!!

if you are drinking wine then you are not doing proper induction anymore.

as said before it's a known fact that your body will burn alcohol before anything else. so just keep this in mind when your weight loss slows. I have been doing this woe for 2 yrs now, and am at goal, so i'm not new at it. I know that when i drank alcohol during my weight loss it was slowed.

I know I wasn't involved in this, but I feel I must comment. I would suggest reading TTDrivers post on the 'Atkins Bus'. If anyone posts a question and it involves doing Atkins the wrong way, people are going to comment. I know that can be terrible for some people, but its true. My goodness, if you don't agree with everyone and tell them what they want to hear they say we are 'preaching' to them. Alchohol is NOT allowed until you get to the Alchohol rung in OWL. Its that plain and simple. If you don't want to do Atkins, don't get mad at us because we do. Its getting to the point where I am afraid to admit I follow the book here, so many people get angry about it. We are still following DANDR here, right??

ROTFLMBO, just take some rubbing alcohol and add lots of sugar and you can make your own! Oh yea and some artificial strawberry flavoring and food color!
