            "Scrapple Jacks" are a take on "Apple Jacks," a popular cinnamon and apple-flavored U.S. cereal from Kellogg's. You can see the box on this Web page, even though it's mostly some silly Flash animation for kids:

                  I think scrapple is a kind of sausage made out of pork bits. I may be thinking of something else.....hmmm....maybe I should go google that.

                    Scrapple is like a pate made out of what's left after you cut the choice meats but before you make the hotdogs. It tastes a bit like braunschweiger or liverwurst. Southernfolk fry it up for breakfast. It's an acquired taste.

                            Yep, Scrapple is the "scraps" from the pig mixed with corn meal to make a sausage like substance! Not Atkins friendly btw so that one really doesn't fit in with the joke.
