I was baking them, but I like them much better deep fried. Here's a recipe that Heide gave me. Too funny, I found this laying on my desk a couple hours ago.
        For 5lbs wings:
1/2 cup Franks Red Hot original hot sauce
1/2 cup Louisiana The Perfect Hot sauce
2tsp crushed cumin seed (I don't have that)
        2 TBL New Mexicanchile powder
        1/2 cup lime juice
        1 cup butter melted

On the stove bring above to a boil then toss over the wings and bake spread out in a roasting pan for 1 hour. turn every 20 min or so.. until done.

I have been deep frying them and then tossing with sauce! Yummmm! Thanks Heidi!!

Oh, I like mine with chunky garlic. So I add that in as well..
What do you mean you havent been stopping for lunch? There's always time for wings!! LOL That recipe sounds pretty good, never had them with chile powder and lime juice. I'll have to give it a try sometime. But I agree with you totally, they do taste better fried than baked. And my wings have to be UNcoated. I cant stand breaded wings (which I know you arent supposed to have....).

Wings are a good thing...I got addicted to them in my younger days when I used to hang out at sports bars. No place makes wings like sports bars...oh and that one place in Tampa....I think it was called Winging It or something...they had like 30 different flavors of wings. That was awesome.....

          Re: chicken wings?

Ah, the joys and pleasures of chicken wings!!! Personally, I like mine a little milder than everyone else. So, I brown the wings in a fry pan, toss them with Walden Farms BBQ Sauce and fresh crushed garlic, and throw those babies in the over. Yummolicious!

Hmmm, I wonder what I will have for dinner tonight?!?!

                      Re: chicken wings?

I'm going to have chicken wings tonight. I thought I'd modify Dana Carpender's Heroin Wings recipe. It will be a cross between my Massaged Chicken and her Heroin Wings. You should be able to get all these ingredients in the UK without any trouble. Let me know if you try them and like them.

                      4 pounds chicken wings
                      1 cup grated Parmesan
                      2 tablespoons dried parsley
                      1 tablespoon dried oregano
                      2 teaspoons paprika
                      1 teaspoon salt
                      1/2 teaspoon pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. (Celsius = 175)
Combine Parmesan cheese, parsley, oregano, paprika, salt and pepper in a bowl.
Line a shallow baking pan with foil. (Dana warns to not skip this because cleanup will take forever!)
Lightly massage each wing section with a small amount of mayonnaise.
Roll wing in cheese mixture and arrange on foil-lined pan.
                      Bake for 1 hour.

Each piece will have only a trace of carbs, a trace of fiber, and 4 grams protein.

(If they taste nasty, I'll let people know.)

I did the massaged wings. My son doesn't like chicken, so he was a real test. They were wonderful. The family ate them all. One caution, though --DO USE THE FOIL. If you don't you'll be sorry! Enjoy.
