I'd say your calories are far too low. No matter what your weight 600 calories a day is not enough IMO. You might want to look at different ways to up that? I think your body will go into starvation mode at that level of cals.

I actually eat about 4 cups of veggies, lots of lettuce included which is about 100 calories, and my veggie meat is 100 calories per like 4 servings ... the only thing that ups it is cheese and dressing. What else can I eat?

you need lots of healthy fats in your diet loliloli, if you are not eating meat.

        Olive oil? Mayo?

This is a hard WOL for a vegetarian... but you can do it if you are willing to work at it and find solutions. 600 calories is WAY too low though. What are your fat/carb/protein percentages?

Eat Some Avocades they are a higher Fat veggie also if you can have cheese does that mean you can have cream as well??? If so Make yourself some Strawberries and Put whole whipped cream on it. That will up your calories really fast cause 1 tsp is 50 calories.

I would definately go for putting mayo and some Olive oil dressing on your salads and such just to up the good fats in your WOE!!!

Re: How much do you eat now that you're smaller

Trust me, I hear ya on the stalls. I have been stalling alot the past year. My scale has barely moved since February, when I lost about 10 lbs after surgery. But I have been losing inches, and people who only see me every 2-3 weeks or so tell me they can see that I have lost more weight. My clothes seems to keep getting baggier (slowly).

So am I really stalling? By Dr. Atkins definition, no, since it's likely I am losing inches. I also think my body has been slowly adjusting to the amount of weight I've lost since it was such a large amount and it's been years since I weighed this low.

Like you, I also lift weights+cardio, but only 3 times a week. I can tell I'm gaining muscle so it's likely alot of my lack of scale movement is due to muscle gain as well. I want to do more exercise, but it still takes me a day or two to recover my energy due to fibromyalgia, but this is getting better, as it used to be 2-3 days.

I'm still waiting for water weight whoosh, but it hasn't really happened yet.

I have been tempted to go much lower calorie (<1200) and my parents tell me that I should, but I don't want to damage my already slow metabolism by limiting my calories too much. I mostly eat between 1400-1800 calories and my portion sizes aren't that big. I am in the berry rung of OWL with an occasionaly glass of wine.

I am also hypothyroid like you Sarah, so if you figure things out, let me know!

For now, I'm content to keep doing what I am doing, maybe changing things up here and there to see if it makes any difference. I might go back to Induction for a few weeks this summer and see if it helps kick start things.

Like a couple of others said definately up your fats, dressings on your salads, mayo (what about egg salad, tuna salad etc if you eat fish), cream like sara mentioned, etc. As a vegetarian i would definately move onto OWL after 2 weeks of induction to start adding back the rungs like extra dairy and nuts, they will be a big help. Avacado like sarah mentioned is a really good idea too.

I would also definately post few days menus inthe 'review my menu' forum for some feedback and ideas. ahttp://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=50

Re: How much do you eat now that you're smaller

I just don't have appetite since I'm on Atkins. Even when I'm hungry I'll be full fast with a little salad. I'll try olive oil, i don't eat egss or fish, but I'm not sure about the cream ... I need bread for cream chese otherwise its gross for me ...as for strawberries I'm not allowed them on induction.

Here's a sample of my menu
                  breakfast
                  veggie turkey
laughing cow - this kinda like cream cheese thing 1g carb but has fat

                  lunch
ceasar salad with 3 cups lettuce, 1/2 cup cheese and 3tbs ceasar dressing

snacks as needed something like the breakfast or more cheese

                  dinner
cucumber with ranch dressing or spinach or peppers about 1 cup

Btw my fat/carb/protein ratio seems to be okay ... like 65:10:25 on average

When I'm working late or having a bad day i'll also have diet coke or coffee or atkins bars but rarely as i try stay away

I have another question: Why are nuts not allowed on induction, I love those?

Try making flax bread! Or spread the cream cheese on some celery sticks.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Your ideal ratios would be 65% fat/30% protein/5% carbs on induction - so you are a little high on your carbs.

Also you listed more than the 3 cups of veggies - why not move to OWL first rung and be able to add more veggies 'legally'?
