Oh man.... I love wasabi. Sushi was my favorite indulgence before I started Atkins. I think I might just get some wasabi to spice up my meals... what a great idea.

I love it too Kittie!! I always use it after the food is cooked. I have found cooking it with the food makes it bitter and not so yummy. They have the powder that you can mix yourself, that has to set up a little bit for it to get potent. i just buy the pre-mixed tube. I saw a wasabi sauce type thing at the regular grocers the other day. It was right with the mustards and what-not. I was gonna get it, but couldn't justify the expense at that moment.
Definitely try mixing a dab with ranch for salad. I never had ranch so good!

Count me in as an Atkins B too! I'm droolin' over the caviar topped avocado and the wasabi....
Wish I could find REAL wasabi though. "hon-wasabi" is a japanese mountain stream plant; American is made from horseradish and mustard. Loe that hot stuff tho.
