just so you know my husband ...actually went grocery shopping and there are three ripe avocados on the table .a bottle of vodka in the freezer..there is a jar of nice caviar in the fridg along side that is a container of sour cream...wonder just what he has in mind for tonight

My parents sent me some Autocrrat CAWFEE syrup as soon as I started this WOE. I stare at it on my desk and drool. I caress my Autocrat bottle lovingly and say "someday, darling, someday...I will haves me a little cheat and you will be making sweet love to a class of low carb milk....oh yes...."

or Pizzer ...LOL I used to drink Eclipse cawfeee syrup!!! people laugh when I say I went from the breast to the bean but really growing up in Prov I started on coffee very very early and totally believe my breastmilk was caffienated as an infant!!!

Eclipse coffee syrup was a staple of my child hood!!! I've never heard anyone else mention it!!!

Providence is fabulous now - if you haven't been back in a while. It is a dining mecca. Fantastic stuff to eat. Federal Hill is upscale; the East side is better than ever.

Thinker how cool you have been there as well and you know Eclipse are you from RI as well some how I thought you said NY? or is Eclipse in NY as well? that stuff was great for kids huh? concentrated sugar and caffiene...no wonder I am crazy that and fluffernutters were my childhood after school snack! I was buzzing all afternoon looking for trouble!!!

Providence is a beautiful city!!! Especially now!.. who would believe they could move a river huh? I get back about every 2 years or so depending on time ...

yes Federal hill is a bit different then when I grew up!!!

I love the little joints in South Prov to be honest the tiny neighborhood places where the waiters still wear suits and speak Italian...but the atmosphere family style and casual...and some places I go you have to buy your own wine at the wine store (only in RI) and then take it into the restaurant to have with your dinner ...

I am beside myself at all the people here who are either from RI or know it that is wonderful!

it is so rare out here to find anyone who knows it at all...some people when I tell them I am "going to Providence on Tuesday" are worried I mean the hospital in Seattle!!!
