I'd like to do a book on low carb success stories. I'd like input on what I'm thinking of as a format and volunteers who'd like to be in it.
Precis first draft outline
1. Some history of low carb
2. Mention of medical benefits and metabolic resistance etc
3. Some sort of outline of the various plans, and hints on how to follow a low carb diet
4. Some success stories of those who have lost and KEPT IT OFF. All the press you read says no one can keep weight off on low carb. We know that is just bull**it. I'm envisaging one page profiles with before and after shot, a story, and some stats and acheivements. I'd like to have before and after blood pressure, cholesterol etc if it was available. This would be the biggest section
An extensive bibliography
This idea came about after I yesterday purchased (at the op shop for 10 cnts) Dr Sandra Cabot's 'Syndrome X'. She has absolutely outrageously plundered other books, research papers etc and does not give one line of credit to anyone. Her 'diet' is just ATins revisited, with a different name! It made me think 'I could do better than this'. My degree is n journalism, after all, and I g=have had many articles published, and ohots, and have a prfoessional photogrpahy qualification. And I've worked in desktop publishing on and off for 25 years! I OUGHT to be able t put a book together.
What say - any takers, advice, volunteers for the success profiles.
