I just read about your book project and wanted to pop in and ask how it was coming along?

Re: Are you a low carb success story?

There are two of us with a book project Kat, mine was to be the UK members' stories. I have had not a single person contact me who is willing to share her/his story for the benefit of others.

Pity, really, since - owning a publishing company myself - I can make this a reality and in a short space of time. But without people sharing their stories, it'sa non-starter.

Analog; best of luck to you on your newest venture. You'll have a lot to write about with all the wonderful success stories we have here!

WaterbabeHelena; I'm sorry for your discouragement; I'm not sure how many members we have from the UK; but I just wanted to offer my best to you as you try to get this project off the ground. I'm sure you will find a way to make it happen for yourself. You sound pretty determined.

Although I don't qualify for either project (still 10lbs from goal) I have been inspired by the many wonderful people who frequent this board; from all areas of the world. GOOD LUCK!

Thanks for the pep-talk Laker. The fact is, if people don't come forward, there is no book. I'm not all that determined; I just thought success stories would want to be in a book to help others, but they don't. I don't think I would insist that people had met an goal, just that they had lost a substantial amount of weight (say, 40 or 50 pounds).

Anyway, seems it won't ever get off the ground, it was just an idea, I'm pretty tied up with other books anyway so I'm not rampant about it!
