Thanks to Richt, I made my first mixed grill on Big George, o my it was absolutely delicious. Steak, chicken, sausage, bacon and gammon with ratatouille beg.
YUMMSTERS!!!
And before I'm asked- Ratatouille is a traditional French Provençal stewed vegetable dish which can be served as a meal on its own (accompanied by rice, potatoes, or simply French bread), or as a side dish. Tomatoes are a key ingredient, with onions, zucchini (courgettes), eggplant (aubergine), bell peppers, a little herbs de provence, and sometimes basil. All the ingredients are sautéed in olive oil.

Ratatouille is one of the delights of life!! As is the Sicilian version "caponata" which is minus the potatoes and with a slight sweet and sour touch (a dash of vinegar, pine nuts and raisins added). Yummy! Time to make a batch!

Steak, with smoked bacon, grilled red, green and yellow peppers and Le Roule Garlic cheese.

Awwww... missed that post, and now it's past dinnertime! Lol...

PH... I'm in Umbria, in the countryside between Rome and Florence. Been in Italy for years and years. Married to an Italian, kiddies... the whole thing. My contact with Italy was from my Italian education as a child in Libya, where Italian schools were a better option than the English or American schools.
Got to learn a new language... and the rest all followed.
And you? Irish born and bred? Have you touched the Blarney Stone?

I'm Scottish but have lived in Ireland for the past 13 years, just couldn't resist the Irish accent on the ladies any more!

Tonight's din dins.
Lil bit of steak, 2 chicken breasts, green beans and steak bolognaise sauce.
Followed by some choc pud and washed down with some chilled Volvic water.
Yum.

Edamame tossed in olive oil and sea salt. Yum! One of my favourite snacks when I hit the legumes rung.
