  • The Reese cups won't win!

I was looking for something in a drawer in my breakfast room and I found two Reese cups!! Not even the little regular ones.... the BIG fat ones and they even have peanuts in them! *groan* I bought them before I went on vacation last month and I guess I forgot them... you know to help me make it through the airplane rides.

Anyway, they are still in that drawer. I put them back and I'm not going to give them away or throw them away. It's become a challenge to see who is stronger... me or them! How long do you think I can go?

Forever! You are stronger than those delicious nutty yet chocolately peanut buttery death discs! You girl...are better!

Cristy...it's tough. But you can do this!...

Step 1...remove disgusting carbs that make fat fatter from the wrapper
Step 2...throw down garbage disposal, with it on and water running
Step 3...wash hands with soap quickly while repeating, "One bite (lick) is the kiss of death.
Step 4...take wrapper immediately out to the garbage can repeating, "One bite (lick) is the kiss of death

Now, ask me how many times I've done this. lol...

That's been my problem too, I've never thrown the stuff away. I ate it and then said "I'll start over tomorrow". I know I really SHOULD throw them away but it feels like I have to prove to myself that I want to be thin more than I want those yucky carbs. I'm going to try to leave them there and if it gets too bad I promise to throw them out.

I think the trick with cream cheese, cocoa powder and splenda would satisfy me when I have an absolutely need for chocolate... I'm going to give it a try.

(Feels like I need to prove a lot of things to myself lately....)

Well, just remember....it's okay to throw it away, and not buy it again.

I do understand about the "proving to oneself", oh, how I totally understand.

            Hang tough!

Personally I would throw them away, only cos I know that if I got upset/stressed about something and had a momentary lack of willpower then they might end up in my tummy. Then I'd feel 100 times worse than b4. But see how u go with them sat there!

Oh Heidi, that tummy of yours is such an inspiration to me!!

I'm better than those peanut butter cups and I'm not going to give in. Want to know what's funny about where I found them? In a plastic baggie, I have the shirt I was wearing and a pic taken on the night I weighed in at 236.5 pounds. That's going to be my before pic on here and I'm going to try that shirt on in just a few pounds when I hit 50 pounds lost...and 60...and so on. And that candy is sitting right on top of that bag... LOL! Kinda ironic... I don't think I would DARE eat them!

And angelstar, if it gets too tempting, I promise to pitch them out!

(Oh I just saw your new pic, Heidi... nice butt too!!)

you are better than those ..sugar is a damn drug and it pisses me off to no end that it is not sin taxed!!!!!

I don't know if you saw what I wrote in another thread today or not, but that's exactly what I was thinking, about the real food. I ate so much junk before and was hungry again in an hour and ballooned up to 236 pounds. Now I'm eating food that is real, and it's good and I'm losing weight! We are all soooo much healthier and actually enjoying eating!
