We are all soooo much healthier and actually enjoying eating!
    Cristy,

One thing I did when I was losing big was to THROW EVERYTHING AWAY. Half-opened bags of chips after a party; partial ice cream containers; candy dishes; wheat thins. Just dump'em. Go RIGHT NOW and grab those Reeses and, as you're throwign them away, inform them how horrible they are for the health of the world. Poor peanut buttery things, they probably don't realize the harm they do.

Every Halloween, I allow myself two Reeses. Last Halloween, I even blew that off. It wasn't worth it.

PUMP & DUMP GIRL! You'll feel good about it. It isn't waste if it is removing your personal energy - the ultimate renwable energy supply!!

it is an awesome thing to do for your skin before you shower Thinker ...before you shower on your dry skin you take a medium soft natural bristle brush (they are less than 5 bucks)...making circles you work from your fingers and toes to the center of your body and then your tummy ...avoid all the really tender areas ...then you take a nice warm shower ...then you turn it on cold and shock yourself ......I have read things that say that it helps skin snap back after loosing weight and I really think it did help tone my skin some ..but ultimately I do it because it feels soooooo damnnn goood!!!!!

I wont lie...recess peanut butter cup DOES sound good....but the thought of me buying smaller pants sounds even better.......LOL. I think I'd have to throw them out personally because I know that with the stress I am going thru right now...if they were near me...I'd probably eat them by 9pm tonite thinking "i'll start fresh tomorrow".....but definately more power to you if you think you can beat them.

And just a side note on the dry brush thing..........I heard that if you get a nice vigourous massage daily/very often on your areas of cellulite, that it helps to break it up. It ummm I think it said something like, it breaks up the cellulite so that it "floats into your bloodstream" and then from there your body dumps it.....so make your husbands, wives, g/f, b/f or whatevers massage you every night...LOL. Tell them its for health reasons....LOL.

Y'know - I'm kinda sorry I asked. I just can't imagine go for a full body brushing unless I become a golden retriever.

I got a brush after you told us about it. You were so right, I don't know if it will help my belly fat but it sure makes me feel good.

Sorry Ladies, Evolution done me wrong. I have the hair profile of an over-educated babboon. If I start brushing myself, i'm going to feel like the missing link in national geographic.

                      Wow...

Well my bf brought over some triple dipped malted milk balls and some chocolate covered espresso beans that we'd purchased a while back (before I came back to Atkins and he joined me on it LOL) They weren't cheap so I told him that I'd keep them for him while he tried Atkins with me. They remain in the freezer. Then again I have teenagers, so my kitchen has all kinds of illegal stuff. If I keep such things out of sight, they're usually out of mind as well.

Re: The Reese cups won't win!

I would look at it this way. By throwing away the peanut butter cups, you *won*. Thats right! Throwing that junk food away is the ultimate "I can beat you"! While keeping them around might be a test of your will power, that also means they will be on your mind, and you'll constantly be testing yourself.

And think of it this way, keeping the peanut butter cups around are what they want. They want you to struggle. They want you to keep them somewhere in the house. Because they know that as long as they stick around, no matter how much will power you exert, the possibility exists for you to eat them.

Throw them out, and the possibility disapears!

I know you're right and I should really do that. A couple days ago I found a half eaten bag of bbq potato chips that have been there for a month. I stomped on them before I threw them away. LOL

                            Thanks for the advice!

LOL... I've eaten the chips right out of the bag too. It's weird how right now I feel like I have to keep them to prove something. But if it gets too bad, I'll toss them out. They ARE one of my favorites too!
