Ok, Ceejay, maybe "pushing" is the wrong term. But it appears to me that you are just trying to wind people up. Of course if this is not the case, then I stand corrected.

But I am just saying how it appears to me.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

Well, stand corrected then rich.. Im not a wind up merchant as you obviously perceive me, and im sorry you are unable to entertain my opinion. I simply am the sort of person, who will argue his case.. if you ask a qustion, you will get a answer.. if you argue a point i will simply counter argue... this is not winding someone up, this is simply discussing opinion.

I agree with you there, but then, I can't see how you can determine something to be "unhealthy" if you do not have a reference point.

As for the cracker thing, i would have to say that does not sound too unhealthy
That was my completely legal Atkins On-Going Weight Loss Phase breakfast this morning. About 50% of the total calories is from fat---healthy fat in the form of olive oil and the fat found within the chickpeas and about 20% protein, primarily from the legumes (chickpeas).

        edited to add the %s.

Ok, chimning in here as feathers are getting ruffled!

Welcome to ADBB....... where we help, support and applaud each other in the Atkins Way of Life. You will find us to be one of the few BB on the internet that does Atkins.......by the book! We will correct people when we feel that they are giving off non-Atkins info! That is what we are here for. 99% of us have adapted Atkins as a way of life and 99% of us are happier and healthier because of that. We do not do a "Cliff's notes" version of Atkins we do the entire program here. We try and teach others to do so too! Those of us who have done it and found success only want to help others achieve the same success.

Now, lets learn from this thread and move on to the mission of this board. Helping others do it right!

To make things such as fats and protein's the main factors in your diet for so long can only spell trouble long term.. i know this, im sure you probably know this as well, yet we still go through with the diet despite this as it shows great results!! and this is fine..
All of the doctors at the family practice I go to (8 doctors), do Atkins. I better let these doctors know that they are hurting themselves. They were convinced after they had their blood work done every 3 months for a year. They all stayed on plan after seeing the evidence. It is the first diet they mention if you go to them for weight loss. My father is diabetic and we eat the same. I better tell him that he is eating unhealthy too. LOL
