Just curious, but what has been everyone's average weight loss during the 14 day induction? Did you gain any back after induction phase? Any inches lost?

Re: Average Weight Loss??
9 pounds. Didn't gain anything back because I continued with the diet. Didn't lose any inches for a very long time. In fact, it wasn't until I dropped my first 30 pounds that I went down a size or two.
Weight loss, btw, is a very individual thing. Most of us can expect to lose 5-10% of the weight we need to lose during the first 14 days. So if you need to lose 100 pounds, you can expect to lose 5-10 pounds. If you need to lose 10 pounds, expect a 1/2 to 1 pound loss. Of course, these results depend on how faithfully you follow the diet. If you don't exercise, don't drink all your water, and sneak bites of illegal food, then you can't expect to lose as much as you would had you followed it properly.

Re: Average Weight Loss??
I think I lost 8 lbs on induction, and I can't remember how many inches, but I haven't gained any of it back. I did have a pause in my weight loss between weeks 3 & 4, so I moved into OWL and consistently lost 1 or 2 lbs a week eating all kinds of variety of food. YAY!~Joy

Re: Average Weight Loss??
My first time on induction, I lost 17 pounds. The second time I lost 14 pounds. Between my first and second induction, I did gain weight back, but that's ONLY because I didn't follow the plan. If you stick with the plan, you won't gain any back, you'll continue to lose.

Re: Average Weight Loss??
My first time on the plan, I don't recall exactly how much I lost in my first induction, but I do recall a 13 pound whooshie, which I couldn't believe... My friend Rudy also told me his doctor said to not be on the diet for more than 2 weeks, so when he stopped, I stopped. (Rudy also neglected to tell me that the doctor meant he shouldn't be on it for more than 2 weeks, not everybody in general.) But my most recent induction, I dropped a good 14 pounds. And I stayed with the plan this time, so I haven't gained anything back, really. I mean, there's the occasional .5-1 pound upshot, but I always attribute that to water weight, or muscle gain. And sometimes, I weigh with my clothes on, because people are around, so that adds to a variable measurement at times. Remember, weight isn't the only way to measure results. Measuring tape is your friend.

Re: Average Weight Loss??
I lost 18 pounds on my first 14 days, but then again I had lots to lose.
My weight certainly bounced all the way down. Some days up a few, most days down lower, so I learned quickly not to get overly worked up on what the morning scale said. A more rational person might not have weighed every morning, but I needed the feedback.
