Tonight's dinner a la Big George.
Steak, with smoked bacon, grilled red, green and yellow peppers and Le Roule Garlic cheese.

        Baked turkey necks? Hmmm....

Made my own chiles rellenos tonight. I discovered how much easier it is to use canned chiles. I'd always blistered them over the gas flame and bagged them to get the skin off. Now that I know how easy they can be to make, I have a feeling it will be a staple for this rung...

Yep....really the turkey's neck. During thanksgiving, you will find the neck along with the other giblet in a pouch inside of the turkey. At other times, you will find them in the meat section of your grocery store along with turkey backs, wings and legs (along with the traditional breast...but who wants to be "traditional"? LIVE A LITTLE PEOPLE!!!!
They also come smoked. This is how I usually buy and eat them...just boil them in seasoned water or chicken stock. I used this instead of salted pork when the recipe calls for it.

I can't be the only one that eats this am I........
