I've tried the 1200-calorie diet...which was idiotic because I was always hungry and felt like I was being punished for being fat.
I lost some weight with South Beach, but for some reason couldn't stay on it for too long. It's a good program, it's just not for everyone.
I tried the Zone...briefly. I know someone who swears it was the best thing ever, but I just couldn't get into it. Didn't work.
I tried South Beach again, and went from 182 (or more) to 176.
Then I read more about Atkins, and found that the way I did it 6 years ago was wrong-all I ate was meats and fats (how on earth did I get that wrong?!!
). I read I can have veggies and even berries later, so I tried it. I am convinced that this is the WOL that works for me! It works, it works, and it just plain works!
